Now this one is nice. Not too overexposed and just the right amount of contrast.

If the headlights are those at the top, what are the two lights at the front for that seem to be off?

Crossing Lights or "Ditch Lights". They get triggered off when the horn or bell is activated, but can also be used for extra illumination. They became an FRA requirement around 1995. Any older equipment was retrofitted. Newer equipment has them built in with the body making for a cleaner look.

I wonder how this would have came out if you put the headlights on bright and the ditch lights came on? Or if you just wanted the bright effect of the headlight, you can turn them on bright and turn the ditch light circuit breaker behind the engineers seat off. In any sense, i really liked this and the marker lights one. good stuff.

There is a difference between Model Trains and Toy Trains. I should know, I own both.

Had the ditch lights been on, it would look like I was at point zero of an atomic detonation.

I personally like Marker Lights better.

True, thouse fuckers are bright, and half the MUs arent aligned correctly so chances are one would be aiming to the left and the other directly into your lense.
