The World Trade Center Towers of Light where shut off only minutes before I got to this spot for the photo. Had the still been on, they would have appeared just to the right of the nose.
As for the locomotive, it's one of the most popular of the NJT GP40's because it's host to a Nathan AirChime P01235 that sounds amazing while all the other GP40's have Nathan AirChime K5LA's.
4112 has been given a break from passenger service and has been used for yard power the last couple of days. With the HEP motor shut down, it sounds the way God intended GP40's to sound.
